The rapid growth of cloud applications and digital home appliances has driven the construction of broadband infrastructure and the demand for high-performance access networking products. Askey's broadband access technology development includes ADSL2+, VDSL2, GPON, and Docsis 3.0 Cable Modems. To meet the requirements for diverse applications, we develop CPE products ranging from basic data modems, routers, to IAD, including WLAN, VoIP, home networking and residential gateways, and MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) products. Our know-how in waterproof and weatherproof techniques allows us to also develop outdoor products.
Wireless and Home Networking
Surfing the web has become a daily necessity - and a real commodity - for so many people. Askey aims to make their experiences as smooth and as hassle-free as possible by developing home connectivity products based on the latests technological advances. Askey's home connectivity products include 802.11a/b/g/n,PLC, MOCA and HomePNA. We also develop standalone client adaptors and integrate them with our broadband access products, if required.
Users expect that Mobile Broadband today should offer the same functionalities and comfort as fixed line broadband, but with the added bonus of mobility. In response to the increasing demand for mobility and Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC), Askey has developed state-of-the-art mobile broadband - based products including HSPA/HSPA+, LTE and Femtocell.
