Askey 5G Private Network Solution Showcases at 2024 Smart City Exh to Lead the City Transformation

Askey participates in "2024 Smart City" from 19th to 23rd March in Taipei and Kaohsiung. It is expected to exhibit 5G/Wi-Fi private network, smart transportation solutions, etc., which provide new possibilities for the sustainable development of the cities and the quality of life of the residents, and assist enterprises to accelerate their digital transformation.

To solve the pain points of traditional enterprise networks, Askey has taken the lead in integrating 5G commercial and private network architectures with self-developed 5G FWA CPEs, Small Cells, enterprise Wi-Fi EAPs, and AMPs, successfully integrating cross-domain 5G/Wi-Fi enterprise network solutions to provide enterprises with efficient, stable, and high-security solutions, accelerating digital transformation.

At the Exh, Askey showcases its achievements in four domains: Smart City, Smart Manufacturing and Logistics, Smart Transportation, and Smart Entertainment, including the underwater 4K camera in Keelung's National Museum of Marine Science & Technology, smart factories with ASUS and ADLINK, and demand-responsive buses in Tainan. Meanwhile, Askey also demonstrates 5G Private Network Immersive Interactive Performance Platform by connecting Kaohsiung 5G Smart Zoo and Weiwuying.

Smart Transportation Solutions: Eco-friendly, Convenient and Efficient
Askey's self-developed smart stop sign solutions have already been implemented in the six cities and other counties around Taiwan. Equipped with 4G connectivity for passengers to check real-time bus updates, weather and other information, they also have solar panels and lithium-ion rechargeable batteries can operate continuously for 14 days even on cloudy days with insufficient light, in line with the environmental protection concepts of renewable energy and lowering carbon footprints. 

In addition, Askey's fleet management solutions for cleaning vehicle management provide dynamic information on the status of cleaning vehicles and the status of cleaning operations through GPS, wireless communication and geographic information systems, which not only enhances the convenience of the public service, but also makes the operation of trash trucks more efficient.
