Askey Smart Pole and 5G Private Network Applications Exhibit at 2026 Smart City Expo both in Taipei and Kaohsiung

Askey will participate in the 2026 Smart City Expo, collaborating with ASUS Group and Foxconn Technology to co-create the AI CITY Pavilion in Taipei. There will also be a booth in Kaohsiung, showcasing Askey’s integrated capabilities in smart city infrastructure through exhibitions in both cities. The highlights are smart poles, smart transportation, and 5G private network applications. It showcases Askey’s comprehensive solutions spanning infrastructure to domain implementation, demonstrating Taiwanese enterprises' strength in AI and smart city integration.

The core highlight of this exhibition is smart poles. These poles integrate small cells, e-paper displays, people flow monitoring cameras, and lighting systems into a single structure. Combined with 5G private network technology, they transform urban infrastructure from single-function assets into multifunctional nodes capable of communication, sensing, information dissemination, and security monitoring. The smart pole supports traffic management, public information dissemination, and urban security monitoring, demonstrating the practical application of deep integration between 5G private networks and urban scenarios.

In smart transportation, Askey also showcases a total solution, including the deployment of 6,500 smart bus stops in Taiwan, with technology and services exported to diplomatically Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Additionally, the smart traffic control system, which uses video technology for traffic flow monitoring, connects roadside equipment with the city management platform. This enhances traffic efficiency and safety, providing citizens with more convenient smart transportation services.

The exhibition also featured Askey’s 5G private network solutions, including backpack-style and suitcase-type equipment, alongside multiple successful domestic and international case studies supporting diverse application domains. The Kaohsiung exhibition will showcase autonomous robot applications integrated with 5G private networks, demonstrating cross-domain integration achievements between smart cities and vertical industry sectors.

Askey continues to drive the implementation of smart city applications through technological innovation, unlocking new possibilities for urban governance and public services via smart infrastructure, intelligent transportation, and 5G private network solutions. The 2026 Smart City Expo will be held at the AI CITY Pavilion in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center from March 17 to 20, and at Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from March 20 to 22.
