Drone Pilot
Askey Drone Pilot solution is designed and developed by Askey under the commission of the European Union. It provides an effective search and locates the injured with NSA Option 3x network architecture. In cases of the wounded search, a highly reliable data transmission is achieved between the drone and the 4G LTE/5G NR small cells, and the image streaming of the drone is transmitted through the 4G LTE small cells or 5G NR small cells.
The image streaming of the drone is forwarded to the local iMEC through 4G LTE/5G NR small cells. iMEC provides traffic local offloading and AI edge computing to analyze each frame of image streaming and store the analysis results. Commanders can monitor the current status by a drone control app and guide rescuers in real time.

Askey Drone Pilot solution adopts authorized 3GPP 4G LTE Band 3 and 5G NR Sub-6GHz n78 to ensure reliable data transmission for remote monitoring applications such as emergency assistance, agricultural damage assessment, disaster evaluation, field patrol, and air pollution sensing.
