XGS-PON Home Gateway
This new Askey 10G PON (Passive Optical Network) Home Gateway enables households and small offices to benefit to the fullest extent from Fiber technology that supports symmetrical 10G EPON or XGS-PON technology.
Dual-Band, it supports 4x4 11n for 2.4 GHz and 8x8 11ac for 5 GHz (and soon respectively 4x4 11ax and 8x8 11ax) and is fully compatible with the next generation features required for video and multimedia streaming over Wi-Fi. It also offers high-quality Voice over IP functionalities.
This device can offer up to 4 Gbps Ethernet added to 2.5Gbps Ethernet transmission over an Optical Distribution Network (ODN).
